Not your average decker-mess with the site the results are bad for you [Jul. 8th, 2009|12:21 am]

I found out last night that I actually don't own ionenterprises.com due to the fact Auctiva actually registered it in their name, name me as a client, and locked it so that they could do as they want. Or so they thought as they had to eventually reopen the site due to the fact that I technically owned the business that the name is derived from since the name is copyrighted and their free service says I can attach a domain to it it will stick until december. When December comes around, I will most likely lose it as I will not use them to reregister it but I will take that chance.

Just to be on the safe side, I registered ionenterprises.US, ionenterprises.net, ionenterprises.biz, and in the process of restraining a few more for the future use and prevent any single entity from trying to lock out my business.

The funny thing every time it looks like Auctiva tries to woo for public into thinking they are the next greatest thing, they put their feet in term mouth all the way to the knees. First they tried charging me for storage of photos to a point where the cost me $40 a month to lists through them besides listing fees that they were going to charge in addition to eBay's fees. Then they censored my blog and claimed that I had no right to complain about them being greedy. This latest incident is being well-publicized by me so that others will realize that they are not trustworthy and in the future if you want to register a name, do not ever use the same company as your hosting company. Use as a registered ICANN registrar even though it may cost more due to the ability for you to control what server points to and the ability to lock the server control of the domain name so that no one can lock you out of it.

Tonight I was to have offered for your enjoyment of beginnings of a chapter on cars and mishaps with cars which is part of my auto biography these idiots to up most my time. The way I look at it is like this, they won the skirmish but I nuked them in the end.

Writer's Block: Newsworthy [Jul. 7th, 2009|11:26 pm]

What news source do you use most often?
Definitely not the post-standard, every day the newspaper becomes smaller and smaller and it wasn't for the sports section would be no good news to begin with.

Actually it depends what I'm looking for news of:
for breaking news Yahoo seems to be actually a better source than CNN.com or MSNBC.com. They were for first to break Billy Mays's death for instance and they always seem to be up on business news.
For sports, ESPN.com is the best overall sports site but if you prefer the collegiate level sports such as football or basketball rivals.com is a better site.
For pro wrestling, I have an inside source to get my news I do happen to like prowrestling.net as Powell has done a great job gathering real news and not just the Internet gossip that most wrestling sites have today.
For financial news, I actually find BBC.com to have the most unbiased news on the economy today.

Novels, this is a crazy world into monsters looks inside out true for biosphere entry [Jul. 7th, 2009|01:13 am]

Unfortunately most of you have been trying to hold me tell me that this blog has been delete it as of late. I appreciate the knowledge that many of you have read it by unfortunately it was deleted by LiveJournal itself by accident I was told and no backups can be found according to them. This meant that over half the novel of my biography is going to have to be rewritten. I know maybe I should have better storage for my thoughts in an better backup system or at least copies but I was counting on this website to actually back itself up. What is even worse is that pictures I have been saving and inserting into the blog have also been deleted. If anyone has any of those pictures saved I would appreciate a copy or two and I may even mention you in the dedication page.

Currently I am in the middle of a new novel project, actually more of a philosophy book tentatively titled "open mind , insert nature - the philosophies of an urban Druid" . I admit it's not the greatest title and title may change in the future currently it's only thing that actually came to my mind. The publisher that I've chosen for my writings has decided that more than enough ideas have been presented and it's time to actually finish one of my novels considering I have about 15 half written. Their suggestion is I just write and not care what I put down and what titles are. Basically they said sketched the novel out through a basic layout plan and just type words underneath it and worry about the punctuation later.

So far so good as it's been proofread by two coworkers who shall be nameless but if you're lucky I might consider putting you in the dedication page.

I actually thought voice-recognition system would make writing easier but actually it's a direct opposite. The thoughts just don't flow as fast as actual typing and with my speech defects, I have to make more corrections than if I just type the outright. Sometimes my dyslexia makes things really difficult so the voice-recognition system helps that respect especially when I am tired.

Speaking of dyslexia and spelling problems, if you like whacked out cartoons I have a great site for you. http://devilspanties.keenspot.com/ (no it's not satanic porn) has been a cartoon I've been following  for about six years now , since I met Jenny Breeden at the Baltimore comic convention in 2003. She is a real trip and at times really reminds me of myself even though she's about 15 years younger than me. In fact, through meeting her and reading the comics and following her blog, it is what encouraged me to take up writing seriously rather than just the scribbles, poems, and short stories I've had published in college magazines, underground newspapers, and on the web.

Well it's no less than 1 AM on the East Coast which means it's time for bed since I have to be up at 5 to meditate before work.

My business blog is currently online. It is also through LiveJournal and the link should be ionenterprises.livejournal.com and that link does not work then I have to manually put the link into the message. Please check it out and feel free to add as a friend if you're interested in collectible items and news on trading cards, collectible card games such as Magic the gathering, Yu-Gi-Oh, Pokémon and other like games, and coin collecting. There'll also be links to my store, Ionenterprises.com and my eBay auction and store.

Fourth Of July [Jul. 4th, 2009|10:50 pm]

Yes it'sanother sorry of the Fourth of July here in Syracuse. The police are more concerned about people blowing off firecrackers than they are about all the recent stabbings and the trouble that has been going on in the city by the gangs. They even have been staking out in Pennsylvania people from Syracuse and arresting them some fire works and I don't know how much money that's costing the city taxpayers, but with all the recent assaults and thefts in the area I would most likely rather have some guy with $1000 worth of firecrackers on the street celebrating a patriotic Fourth of July than all the trouble that the post-standard has been reporting the last three weeks.

Allison and myself watched the fire works from the state fair which were pretty boring but it's the best we could have. Laura was home sick so it was just the two of us and we didn't want to go out to one of the better shows which were far from Syracuse. Sometimes it's hard to maintain a poly relationship but sometimes is worth it.

Tomorrow it is another day at the market and hopefully we'll do well. I hope that everyone has a happy Fourth of July and I hope everyone's been having a safe time. And those that have blown off parts of their body due to their own stupidity, it is only Darwinism in action and the police should just let it happen after all you should not regulate stupidity as they usually remove themselves from the gene pool by their own actions.
